The Dishwasher Drain Hose Clamp holds the end of the water hose in place to prevent the hose from leaking water. When disconnecting the lines underneath the sink, be sure to place a towel down to catch any leaking water. If you're also replacing the drain hose at the same time, make sure that the sink-end of the new hose is the correct size on the new hose before installing. If needed, you can cut the new hose end to fit the sink end. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, minor disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this item. Also be sure to turn off the water supply to your dishwasher before you begin.
